Environmental Health Manager Hired

June 30, 2003 (Mohave County, Kingman) -- The Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) is pleased to announce the selection of the new Environmental Health Division Manager - Sandy Hillary. Sandy Hillary is currently employed within the MCDPH for the Tobacco Program as a Community Health Education Specialist. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Technology and an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/Occupational Safety from the University of Wisconsin. Sandy has over 15 years of Environmental Management experience. Her employment history includes the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe as the Tribal Environmentalist, Pfizer Inc. as the Safety, Environmental Health and Security Supervisor, and Hettich manufacturing as the Environmental Manager. Patty Mead stated, “I am so pleased to have such a talented and genuinely nice person lead our team in Environmental Health”. Patty also expressed her appreciation to Larry Webert for filling in as the Acting Manager for the time the position has been vacant, “I sincerely appreciate Larry’s hard work and efforts as acting Environmental Health Manager.”
