C.S.F.P. or Food Plus as it is sometimes called, is a federal food
distribution program. The participants are person's sixty years and older,
pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum women, and children up to age six who meet
income and residence guidelines.
C.S.F.P. distribution is done once per
month. Foods may include nonperishable items such as canned juice, canned
vegetables, canned meat, dry or evaporated milk, dry eggs, and cereal.
Other foods items which may be included are fresh fruits and vegetables and
government cheese.
